R.A.F.T. (Rail Attached Flexible Tool) System The RAFT System was developed for The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office for the purpose of mitigation and speedy recovery from IEDs or potential suicide bombers. Some of it's capabilities include the ability to disable a vehicle, break a car window, cut a suicide bomber vest away from a suspect or rescue an injured person without loosing the ability to use your gripper. All RAFT Components Are Designed To Be Used By EOD and SWAT Operators, Not Engineers In A Warm Safe Laboratory. Strength, Simplicity and Flexibility are all Overbuilt Into The RAFT System To Ensure Mission Success. RAFT Components Are Designed And Built In Our Machine Shop Using Aerospace Quality Components And Construction Techniques To Bring You The Best Tools Available. The RAFT Components Include: Precision Machined Grippers replace your existing grippers (Remotec 6A Shown) to allow attachment of RAFT Components and more precise movement with the gripper. RAFT Cutter: Designed For Cutting Back Packs, Homicidal Bomber Vests And Clothing. The Cutter Features 180 Degrees Of Razor Sharp Cutting Surface Using COTS (Consumer Off The Shelf) Disposable Contractor's Razor Blades. There's No Excuse For Not Having A Razor Sharp Cutter. Blades Are Quickly And Easily Exchanged Using A Hex Key. The Threaded Holes Are Reinforced With Helicoils For Extended Life In Hostile Dusty Environments. RAFT Rescue Hook: This Is The Tool For Recovering A Downed Officer Under Fire, Dragging Cover Or Concealment Down Range. One Military User Plans On Using His Hook To Grab And Pull Wires Used To Command Detonate IEDs. .RAFT Illuminator: Why Go Down Range With Your Halogen Lamps Running High And Your Battery Running Low. Drive Down Range With This Self Contained LED Illuminator Attached To Your Gripper To Save Your Battery And Extend Your Operational Time. You Can Always Turn On Your Halogen Lamps If Needed. The RAFT Illuminator Also Gives You That Extra Light Right Where You Need It, At The End Of Your Gripper. RAFT Deflator: A Large Hypodermic Type Needle Quickly Deflates Suspect's Tires for SWAT Operations Or When It's Necessary To both Stabilize And Lower A Vehicle When Working With A IED. One Law Enforcement Bomb Tech Has Told Us He Plans To Use It When Dealing With Pressure Bombs. RAFT Bag Ripper: This Spiked Tool Was Developed To Rip Open Paper and Plastic Bags, But We Discovered That It Has Many More Applications. 	Very well made system. Very useful for moving packages and other items with robot. Only addition that would make more useful is a block held in grippers that multiple tools can be attached to for fast changes of tools down range.
