Apr. 6 – KGO NEWS San Francisco: - Some tense moments at Intel's Santa Clara campus Thursday afternoon. The bomb squad checked out a suspicious package under a car. Several buildings were evacuated at around 4:45 p.m. as the bomb squad checked out the plastic briefcase. A remote controlled robot was used to remove the briefcase from under the car. Intel's security team had noticed someone placing the case under the car and called police. There was no bomb, but we don't know who the briefcase belongs to or what was inside.
Behind The Scene Report: "The Package was in a difficult location that would have been impossible to access with our robot if it had not been for our RAFT RESCUE HOOK. We were able to hook and flip the device right out from under the car wheel well."
March 4th IABTI: Some of our tools were recently featured in a cover story on the Jan/Feb. issue of IABTI's "The Detonator".
